Most travel apps ask you to log a trip while you are on it — which is exactly when nobody wants to. Musafir works backwards from what you already have.
Step one
Point it at your photo library
Musafir reads the GPS coordinates and timestamps your phone has been quietly writing into every photo for years. Nothing to fill in, nothing to remember.
Step two
Photos fall into trips on their own
Shots taken within about 40 km and 36 hours of each other belong to the same journey. Eight photos make a trip — or just four if you stayed the night somewhere.
Step three
You confirm, and it is yours
Every detected journey arrives as a draft with its route, stops and distance already worked out. Keep the ones that are real, discard the rest.
Your photos stay on your phone
The scan runs entirely on your device — your library is never uploaded, and drafts are held in local storage until you say otherwise. The one thing that leaves during a scan is the centre point of each detected trip, sent to look up what that place is called. Photos upload only for the trips you choose to keep.
